The anthological exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Modern Art presents over 40 works, including paintings, mirror paintings , installations and rare archive images, from 1958 to 2021 . This is the artist 's most comprehensive solo exhibition ever made in Switzerland , with the significant title La Verità by Michelangelo Pistoletto. From the Mirror to the Third Paradise .

“Stop Painting” is an exhibition conceived by artist Peter Fischli on view at the historic palazzo of Ca’ Corner della Regina, Fondazione Prada’s Venetian venue, from 22 May to 21 November 2021. The press preview will take place on Wednesday 19 May.

For this 18th edition of the Nuit Blanche in Paris, Thanks for Nothing invites to the City of Science and Industry a major figure of contemporary art: the Italian Michelangelo Pistoletto , famous for its founding inscription in the movement arte povera from the 60's as well as for his participative works. On the evening of October 5, the artist will perform two more of his performances that will engage visitors: the first,  Sculpture Walk , will invite the public to roll in space a sphere made of compressed newspapers, while Third Paradise will encourage them to form a human chain outdoors, as a collaborative and symbolic drive for solidarity. The ecological stake of the latter is explicit: for each participant in the performance, a tree will be planted. 500 people are invited to participate in the event, which can be registered now by clicking on this link.

The Palazzo Ducale in Mantova hosts Michelangelo Pistoletto’s exhibition ‘Da Cittadellarte alla Civiltà dell’Arte’, which explores the full range of the artist’s practice over the past 60 years, from the first self-portraits, through to his celebrated mirror paintings, as well as his ongoing Terzo Paradiso project.

Michelangelo Pistoletto and filmmaker, Chiara Messineo, will be in conversation, discussing topics including the Terzo Paradiso and the artist’s exhibition of new mirror paintings at Simon Lee Gallery, focused around the subject of shelves.

Michelangelo Pistoletto's Third Paradise, which travelled to Space with the ASI Mission VITA on 28th July, came back to the Earth with the ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli last Thursday, 14th December. 

Congratulations to Michelangelo Pistoletto who will be honoured with the Roswitha Haftmann Prize on 28 September 2018 at the Kunsthaus Zurich. Since its inauguration in 2001, the prize has been awarded annually to a living artist in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the visual arts.
