Japan Society Gallery cordially invites you and your guest to a Radical 60s Gallery Hop, an exploration of the experimental art of the 1960s and onward, focusing on Radical Japanese artists! This tour will deepen your undersanding of Japanese post-war art alongside Japan Society Gallery's spring exhibition, Radicalism in the Wildermess: Japanese Artists in the Global 1960s. Starting from the ligendary 1960s arists Masunobu Yoshimura from Neo-Dada and Shusaku Arakawa, the group will move on to 1970s conceptual artist Keiji Uematsu, and conclude with painters with political ideas Hiroshi Nakamura and Minoru Yoshida. We hope this thorough view will privide you with fresh insights into Japanese post-war art!
