Merlin Carpenter's NEW 12 inch vinyl release:
Side one A: DJ Trogg Mix
The band Merlin and Isabelle was founded in the early 1990s by Merlin Carpenter and Isabelle Graw. Their first tracks were produced mid-decade, in the context of plans to convert the former Bankside power station into the future Tate Modern. At eight minutes and five minutes respectively, the two BANKSIDE mixes on this 12" encompass a dissonant, junglist dance track co-produced with DJ Trogg (Martin Moore), featuring vocals by Graw and Carpenter; as well as the original Fresh Mix, an ambient home recording. Both were completed in 1995 and have now been remastered by Amir Shoat.
